Build your comp plan or paste the one you already use, drop in your team, and every payout is calculated in front of you with the math shown for each rep. One flat price per company, whatever your headcount, never per seat.

Calculation Match Guarantee. If your first live pay period does not match your own verified numbers, you do not pay for it.

06 The calculator

Run your team's commissions right now

Define your comp plan (or paste the one you already use), add your reps, and PayoutPilot calculates every payout with the math shown line by line. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored unless you save it to a workspace. No account, no signup.

1. Your comp plan

The rules you pay on: rates, tiers, quota accelerators, or a threshold. Set them once and they stay the same every period.

Have your plan in a file? Let PayoutPilot read it.
Upload a PDF, Excel, or CSV and the rates, tiers, and quota rules are read in for you to confirm below. Read in your browser, never stored.
Plan type

A base rate up to quota, a higher rate above it.

2. Your team

Who did what this period: each rep, their quota, and what they closed. This is the part that changes every pay run.

Runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or saved.
02 The stakes

What another year of doing nothing costs you

Nothing breaks loudly. The cost shows up as a bill that grows with headcount, a reconciliation that eats a day a month, and a payout conversation you have to defend from memory.

01

The bill climbs every time you hire

Per-seat commission tools charge you again for every rep you add. Sales Cookie states it plainly on their own billing page: pay more when you add reps. The tool gets more expensive precisely when the team is working.

02

Month end lands on one person

One spreadsheet, one owner, and everyone else hoping there is no mistake in it. The reconciliation is the part nobody has time for, and it arrives every single period.

03

Reps dispute numbers they cannot check

When a rep cannot see how their payout was calculated, the conversation stops being about the number and starts being about trust. That is an expensive conversation to have at month end.

Monthly bill as the team grows
10 repsper seat $400  ·  flat $129
15 repsper seat $600  ·  flat $129
20 repsper seat $800  ·  flat $179
25 repsper seat $1000  ·  flat $179

Per-seat figures are the mid-market rate published by the tools in the ladder below, at $40 per user per month. PayoutPilot is $129 up to 15 reps and $179 for 16 to 25.

“I did the math and realized I wasted 216 hours manually tracking my commissions”
A practitioner posting in r/SalesOps, June 2026. Their words, not ours, and not a PayoutPilot customer.
03 What you get

Here is exactly what the calculator gives you

  1. 01

    Every rep, calculated

A commission for each rep on your team, from their quota and closed revenue, using your plan exactly as you set it.

  2. 02

The math, shown line by line

Open any rep to see exactly how the number was reached, band by band, so you can check it against your own figures.

  3. 03

    Anything it cannot compute, flagged

A plain flag on any rep or plan mechanic outside the supported model, so nothing is silently guessed.

  4. 04

    What it would cost you

One flat price per company at your headcount, not per-seat math that climbs every time you hire.

It runs the moment you click calculate, right here in your browser. Nothing you enter is uploaded or stored unless you choose to save it to a workspace.

  2. 02Paste or use sample data

    Add your team

Paste each rep, quota, and closed revenue straight from your spreadsheet, or load a sample team to see it work.

  3. 03Instant, in your browser

    See every payout, live

Each rep’s commission is calculated in front of you, with the math shown line by line. No submitting, no waiting.

To be direct about scope

Once the numbers look right, PayoutPilot keeps them running every pay period: one flat price whatever your headcount, no charge for plan changes. PayoutPilot's current version handles flat and tiered percentage plans, quota attainment with accelerators, and per-rep quotas. It does not yet handle clawbacks, draws, true-ups, or multi-currency plans. We will tell you plainly if your plan needs one of those, rather than guessing.

05 The price ladder

The price stops moving when the team grows

PayoutPilot is not the cheapest way to track commissions. A spreadsheet is free. It is the option whose bill does not rise every time you hire.

Why 15 reps?It is the top of PayoutPilot's first pricing band and the middle of the team size this is built for, 10 to 20 reps. It is also the headcount at which per-seat billing stops being a rounding error and starts reading like an invoice.

QCommission publishes no subscription price at all: their editions page lists three tiers and closes with a form, so the row above carries no figure rather than one we chose. Third-party listings do quote numbers, and they disagree by a factor of three (Capterra and GetApp say $17 per user per month, ITQlick says $50, which at 15 reps is the difference between $255 and $750), which is why none of them is on the chart. PayMyReps prices in pounds (£449 a month for one scheme, £549 for two, plus a £349 setup fee that is deducted from your first month), shown here converted at £1 = $1.33. It is a managed service configured for you, not a self-serve tool, which is why it is the only flat-priced row here you cannot buy without an enquiry, and why its price does not move with headcount either. Sales Cookie charges no setup fee and configures your first plan free.

01

One price, any headcount

QCommission, Sales Cookie, and QuotaPath all bill per seat, so the bill moves every time you hire. PayMyReps is flat too, but it is a managed service you cannot buy without an enquiry, and its entry price is about four and a half times PayoutPilot’s. PayoutPilot is $129/mo flat up to 15 reps and $179/mo for 16 to 25, self-serve, with the price on the page. Hire your eleventh rep and the number does not change.

02

Your existing plan, not a rebuild

You enter the plan you already run, or paste it and confirm the rules PayoutPilot reads back. There is no implementation project to schedule and no training invoice, where QCommission quotes training per project on top of about $1,000 of implementation and QuotaPath publishes a 45 to 60 day window.

03

You see the price without a call

Most of the tools above make a 12-rep buyer work to find the real number: a demo, an enquiry form, or a click to reveal a platform fee. PayoutPilot's is on this page. So is the list of what PayoutPilot does not do.

07 Real feedback

What people already say, in public

PayoutPilot has no customers yet, so it has no testimonials, and inventing some would be a strange way to start a product that calculates your team's pay. These are real, public quotes from Reddit and review sites, from people talking about this category and the tools already in it. None of them are PayoutPilot users. They are the reason it is being built.

We have a terrible time trying to track team commissions on Excel. I explored some Salesforce apps but turns out they aren’t as simple to implement.

Frontline manager here, 12 AEs reporting to me. I spend way too much time pulling reports from Salesforce to figure out where each rep stands against quota. I want something that gives me a live view of performance... Our ops team is two people and already stretched thin so whatever we bring in needs to be low maintenance.

On the incumbentG2 review of QCommissionJuly 2016
One must be very computer/software savvy to use this program as it is not very user friendly, is extremely fastidious with how data must be entered... Had to analyze and design all my own checks and balances, and have reports custom built to meet my requirements (custom reports require an extra charge $).

File upload gives me control. I trust a CSV I’ve validated way more than a live feed that broke because someone changed a field name.
One honest counterpoint

The same research turned up practitioners arguing that a well-built spreadsheet is fine below roughly 15 to 40 reps. They have a point. If your plan is simple and your spreadsheet is not hurting, the calculator will show you numbers you already trust, and you should keep your money.

08 Who builds it
Dario Verghi, founder of LeanAI Studio

Dario Verghi

Solo software builder who personally reads and checks every comp plan before anything goes live

I build small, focused tools instead of hiring a team, which means I personally wrote and checked the calculation logic behind PayoutPilot, band by band. No support queue, no outsourced parsing, just one person paying close attention to getting your reps' numbers right.

  • The calculation logic was written and checked by me
  • Nothing ambiguous is guessed, it gets flagged
  • Your plan and team numbers never leave your browser
  • You get a person on email, not a ticket number

Loading a plan brings its roster with it. On the free calculator this is where a rebuild starts instead.

Why it matters on close day

The plan and the roster are the part you rebuild from scratch every period in a spreadsheet. Saved once, next month is loading it, pasting the closed revenue, and reading the number.

A preview, not a demo account. The figures are the sample team the free calculator ships with, and the layout is the workspace layout. You reach the real one by signing in after you subscribe.

10 The subscription

The free calculator tells you the number. PayoutPilot runs the month.

The calculator, free, tells you what every rep is owed right now. A subscription runs your whole commission month and proves it to your reps: your full roster, your plan and team saved so the next close is five minutes not a rebuild, period history and year-to-date, and a printable statement for every rep that ends the "how was this calculated" conversation. One flat price per company, versus $600 to $875 a month at 15 reps on the per-seat tools, plus their setup fees.

  • Your whole roster, saved plan and team, no rebuild each period
  • Period history, year-to-date, and a printable statement per rep
  • No per-seat fees, no charge for plan changes, cancel any time

Calculation Match Guarantee

If PayoutPilot's calculated commissions for your first live pay period do not match your own manually verified numbers, you do not pay for that period, full refund, no questions, and we help you export your data back out.

One flat price per company

Up to 15 reps$129/mo
16 to 25 reps$179/mo

No setup charge and no per-seat fees. The number does not move when you hire. Per-seat tools run $600 to $875 a month at 15 reps before implementation.

Your data. The free calculator runs entirely in your browser: your comp plan and rep numbers are never uploaded or stored. On a subscription, only the roster, plan, and period history you choose to save are kept, so your statements persist between pay periods. Three processors touch that data and no others: Stripe for checkout, MongoDB Atlas for the workspace database, and Resend for sign-in link emails. A signed data processing agreement is available on request.

11 FAQ

The questions worth asking first

01What does PayoutPilot not do?

This is the honest scope boundary, and it matters more than any feature list. PayoutPilot's current version handles flat percentage plans, tiered percentage plans, quota attainment with accelerators, and per-rep quotas. It does not handle clawbacks, draws, true-ups, or multi-currency plans. If your plan needs one of those, the calculator flags it plainly rather than guessing, and you should buy something else. We will tell you which.

02Can I trust a browser-based calculator with my real commission math?

Yes, and here is exactly why. PayoutPilot does not guess. It applies plain, deterministic arithmetic to the plan rules you enter, and it shows every line of the calculation so you can check it against your own numbers. It is not an AI inferring what you probably meant. When a clause is ambiguous or outside what PayoutPilot supports, it flags that line rather than quietly guessing, because a confidently wrong commission is worse than the spreadsheet it replaces. And the Calculation Match Guarantee stands behind it: if your first live pay period does not match your own manually verified numbers, you do not pay for it.

03Is the calculator really free, and what is the catch?

The full, line-by-line calculation for your first five reps is free, with no card, no signup, and no call. The catch, if you want to call it that, is that we hope it is good enough that you unlock your whole team and keep it running every pay period. If it is not, you keep using the free part.

04Where does the calculation actually happen?

Entirely in your browser. Your plan and your team’s numbers are not uploaded or sent anywhere to be calculated, and nothing is stored unless you press a save button. The calculation logic was written and checked line by line by the founder, and anything ambiguous is flagged rather than guessed, because a confidently wrong commission number is worse than the spreadsheet it replaces.

05Do I get a live dashboard of rep attainment?

No. PayoutPilot calculates payouts per pay period from the plan and figures you enter, so the numbers are as current as what you put in, not a real-time feed. One of the managers quoted above says plainly that they want a live view of performance, and PayoutPilot is not that product. If real-time attainment is the thing you are buying, look at Qobra or QuotaPath instead. What PayoutPilot gives you is a payout number you can defend line by line, at a price that does not move when you hire.

06Do you store my plan or my team’s numbers?

Only if you ask us to, and the honest version of that answer has two halves. Use the calculator and nothing is stored: what you type stays in your browser for that session, close the tab and it is gone. Sign in and create a workspace and the documents you explicitly save, your plans, your saved periods, and archived statements, are held on our servers so you can reach them next month and from another device. That is the point of the workspace. You can delete your account and everything in it in one click, and the privacy page states exactly what is held. Billing, if you subscribe, is handled by Stripe.

07Can you import my setup from QCommission or QuotaPath?

Not from the vendor directly, and it would be dishonest to claim otherwise: those tools export results, not plan definitions. What you bring is your comp plan’s rules, which you can type in or paste, and PayoutPilot reads them back for you to confirm. It all happens in your browser.

08What if my spreadsheet is working fine?

Then keep it. Practitioners in the same public threads we quote above argue that a well-built spreadsheet holds up below roughly 15 to 40 reps, and they are not wrong. PayoutPilot is worth money when the per-seat bill or the monthly reconciliation has become the problem, not before.

09Why is it cheaper than the other tools?

Because it does less and because it is built by one person with no sales team to fund. The price is flat per company rather than per seat, which is a structural choice rather than a discount: it means the bill does not rise when you hire.

10What happens if the numbers are wrong?

The Calculation Match Guarantee: if the calculated commissions for your first live pay period do not match your own manually verified numbers, you do not pay for that period, you get a full refund, and we help you export your data.
